Founding partner David R. Gellman retired from practice at the end of 2020.  David began his San Francisco law practice as a sole practitioner in 1982.  He holds a B.A. in economics, anthropology and psychology from Northwestern University (1975), and obtained his law degree from Boston University Law School in 1978.  During his 40+ years of practicing law, Mr. Gellman focused on transactional matters such as condominium conversions and new-construction subdivisions, commercial leasing, tenancies-in-common (TICs), business formation and operation, real property transactions, and estate planning.  He is the author or co-author of many of the firm’s online FAQ articles.
