Nyoki T. Sacramento is a seasoned attorney specializing in general litigation with an emphasis on business litigation, employment litigation, employment advice and counseling, and impartial workplace investigations. She is currently expanding her practice area to include real estate litigation. She has successfully represented a diverse clientele, including Fortune 500 companies and universities, in both federal and state courts. Nyoki’s practice includes advising employers on compliance with federal and state equal employment opportunity (EEO) laws and other workplace regulations. She has conducted and overseen more than 300 workplace investigations addressing complex issues such as discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and other workplace infractions. Her expertise also includes drafting and negotiating employment agreements, workplace policies, and business contracts.

Prior to joining the firm in 2024, Nyoki served as Assistant Vice Chancellor and Title IX & EEO Officer at the University of California, San Francisco. In this capacity, she managed complaints within the campus and medical center communities alleging discrimination, harassment, and/or retaliation based on protected activities and characteristics. She developed statistical models to analyze diversity data, collaborated with human resources and leadership teams to address disparities, and ensured a safe and equitable environment. She also crafted the institution’s Affirmative Action Plan and led initiatives to support underrepresented groups and individuals with disabilities.

Nyoki also brings valuable experience from her time as an associate attorney with several reputable law firms, where she represented employers in business and employment litigation, advised on compliance matters, and honed her skills in workplace investigations. This foundational experience informs her practical, results-oriented approach to resolving complex legal and compliance challenges.

Nyoki is an active member of the Bar Association of San Francisco, the Sacramento County Bar Association, and the Association of Workplace Investigators. These affiliations underscore her commitment to professional excellence and staying informed on evolving legal trends.

Nyoki earned her J.D., with honors and awards, from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law in 2005. She is certified in Title IX and workplace investigations, holds the T9 Mastered certification, and is recognized as a Certified Affirmative Action Professional by the American Association for Access, Equity, and Diversity.
